Body Sidecovers / Aftermarket

The inexpensive aftermarket sidecovers that are available for Kaw 900's and 1000's have a
bad reputation as being low quality. While they are not the quality of the OEM Kaw covers,
they are available new, are cheap, and with a nice paint job, a good looking emblem or decal ,
and some classy hardware to mount them........You'd be surprised......

Our1973 thru 1975 Z-1 sidecovers are reproductions of the original items, and mount with the
stock-type molded tabs...... See them below also........

This is the hardware that comes with the aftermarket covers.The covers come blank (undrilled). You can simply place them
up to your frame, and scribe marks on the inside through the grommet holes for proper drilling. The threaded lugs pop right
into the OEM Sidecover Grommets ......They mount very solidly. We use higher quality hardware when we mount them.

For the 1973 thru 1975 Z-1 900 Models...... These Japanese-made repro Z-1 side covers feature the
original type, molded-in mounting tabs - As well as pre-marked points for emblem post and oil-dipstick hole drilling...
These are made of plastic of the same strength and thickness of the originals..... $59.95 each
