Fork Springs

Kawasaki 900 & 1000 front forks are basically cave-man grade technology compared to
what is available in the modern motorcycle market....Even in their day, the Kaw 900's and 1000's
were considered poor handling bikes........Some basic maintenance and choosing the right fork oil
can improve the situation considerably........

For all 1973 through 1980 900 & 1000 models ......(except 79-80 KZ1000E / shaft) Progressive Suspension variable rate fork springs install in all old Kaws with no additional spacers required ........ These springs tend to be stiffer than the stock springs, and we recommend using a 10 weight fork oil in forks so equipped....
