In our opinion, there is simply no better brake rotor that
a Kawasaki OEM ......
made of hardened stainless steel, they are twice as durable as any of the
aftermarket pieces......
But in certain applications, they have their own issues and limitations.
For 1977 thru 1980 KZ1000A & KZ1000B
/ LTD rear applications.......

Premature wear on the rear discs of all the 1977 thru 1980 KZ1000's
- - Especially the
1979 and 1980 KZ1000B / LTD's has always been an issue,
especially on the rear discs on the 1979 & 1980 KZ1000 LTD's,
which score and wear 2 to 3 times as fast as those on most big
Kawasakis
....... A floating disc rotor is a better idea here ......
While we often have good or re-surfaced Kawasaki
OEM discs in stock, they are becoming increasingly
harder to find, and increasingly expensive ........
We offer the high-quality replacements pictured above as an alternative
to
finding a stock rear disc for these models - - Which is getting harder
by the day
