This Battery Tender* Jr. battery charger is a smaller, less expensive version of the better known Battery Tender* charger, functionally identical to it's big brother except it charges at a slightly lower rate (.75 amp).....

Since a high rate of charge is of absolutely no importance with a trickle charger, and its cheaper. this is our pick for a regulating trickle charger.....

Not to mention, while we've seen several of the full size tenders fail, we've never seen one of these go out yet.....

Keep in mind that a conventional battery, while hooked up to this charger will have its charge regulated automatically, but it's up to you to keep the electrolyte level up.....This little tool won't do everything for you, and if it's left on a battery with too low an electrolyte level for too long, you're going to lose that battery anyway.....
