This 77 KZ1000A had 3800 original miles on it when we chose it for one of our projects.
As with all our major projects, no expense has been spared in the building of this one of
a kind Kawasaki.
As with all our major projects, the frame and all chassis components have been sandblasted and repainted....fenders and all major chrome parts are re-plated...the suspension is entirely rebuilt, and the steering head upgraded with tapered roller bearings....new D.I.D o-ring drive chain...the bike    has been lowered 1 inch in the rear and 1 1/4 inches in the front. The original spoke wheels are in near-new condition, with new Bridgestone  BT45 tires....the entire electrical system rebuilt,
including restoration of the bar switches and gauges......finished in black with red graphics
1075cc Wiseco forged pistons....welded crank pins....undercut 2nd gear....HD camchain with all new guides and rollers.....3 angle valve job....original 26mm carbs rebuilt and jetted.....Vance & Hines
exhaust.....high-output coils...entire engine has glass-blasted finish.....professionally polished engine covers....and this engine isn't just for show.....this bike runs as strong as it looks.
